He, with a Mechanical Engineering background, is the person behind spearheading the Group to a different dimension with his innovative and forward thinking approach. He actively took over the business operations of Dipon Group in 1995 and accelerated the growth of Dipon Group to scale new heights and horizons. In a short span, he managed to expand the business arena of Dipon Group and transformed the gas pipeline construction company into a multi-dimensional and multi-faced business organization that has business activities in EPC Services, Project Investment & Development, IT & ITES and Shipping & Logistics with a strong presence in Bangladesh, India, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE and some African Countries. He has been the driving force and brain behind many big initiatives & strategies for business ventures as well as mega projects which were game changers for Dipon Group. He acted as Vice-President of Bangladesh Energy Companies Association, and members of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Bangladesh Association of Software & Information System (BASIS), Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Kelab Darul Ehsan, Selangor, Malaysia. He takes active interest in social work and strengthened various initiatives of Dipon Foundation, taking it to a wider society. Mr. Rashed treats Dipon Group members as his family and he has a special interest in welfare of all members.
